Hi all, Fabric 1.0 is pretty much all set, other than a handful of minor tweaks, and some test suite fixes, which should be ironed out in the next couple of days.
There's a few major new features (interactivity and the put/get overhaul) and a ton of minor new features / changes. See http://docs.fabfile.org/1.0a/changes/1.0.html for the latest list. Please download/pull/etc and test it out! While I'd prefer to wait until I get at least a few more "I used the new features and it all works great" replies, the plan is to release 1.0 sometime next week so it's out before Pycon. And depending on the Fabric sprint and how my time is apportioned the rest of the con, it's entirely possible we'll see 1.1 come out during or soon after...
