Hi Cesare, Were you previously using Fabric 0.9.x, or would you be willing to quickly test it out (note that it's not backwards compatible so you may want to use a simple test case)? It would help to know if the problem still occurs if all other factors are the same but Fabric is 0.9.x.
My guess, however, is that it's purely a Paramiko problem, in which case there's nothing we can do here and you would need to add a +1 on the Launchpad ticket you linked to, and/or mail the Paramiko mailing list.
