This is called SSH tunnelling and if you google "fabric ssh tunnelling" you'll get a lot of results. Particulary this bug are prominent: https://github.com/fabric/fabric/issues/38 As you'll see, there is a monkeypatch you can apply and if you read the roadmap for version 1.5: http://fabric.readthedocs.org/en/latest/roadmap.html «Fabric 1.5: SSH tunnelling, remote timeouts, improved SSH key debug info, sudo improvements, and a bit more. See the milestone issues page for what remains to be done.» So, voilá, there you have it. If there is really a problem, do the monkeypatch, if you can wait couple of weeks, do it. If you do the google search above, you will also find alternative solutions using ProxyCommand to the ssh command or other ways of tunnelling. Good luck. -- Sincerly, Herman Schistad ツ _______________________________________________ Fab-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/fab-user
