FaceGen works by warping shapes, not creating them from scratch. The warps that FaceGen uses have a minimum size, so things like creases and small shape features will not be changed, even as overall shape of the face can be completely changed.
The option to not use detail texture from profile photos only affects small-scale details such as wrinkles, pores, etc. FaceGen still tries to match all selected photos. So if one of the photos is green, FaceGen will attempt to generate a green face to match it. We will add a feature to use the points only in a future version, thanks for your feedback.
