Hello, Without an image I can't be sure, but It sounds like you're referring to when the eyelids are closed on the gen 8 model.
This can happen with dark eyelashes because the eyelashes obscure the upper lids when the eyes are open (in the photo) So when the color detail is mapped on, the dark eyelids cover the area from which the upper lids get their color map. We don't have an automated fix for this at present. Manually touching up the color map for the eyelids is the only solution at present.
