Hello,

I just wanted to report that Factor, the UI, and Factory all work on Puppy
Linux.

http://www.puppyos.com/

I'm totally amazed by this distro. I usually run ubuntu and I'm so annoyed
that the hard drive is being hit every once in a while. No matter what I do
to keep memory usage low, the hd is used. Even when I launch minor programs
like a terminal!

Anyways, puppy linux comes with alot of apps and runs totally in RAM. It's
super super fast. :-)

1 - The default X server on puppy doesn't have the GLX extension. Using
their package manager, I found an alternate X server with GL support.
Install it. Restart X.

2 - Use the disk mounting utility to mount the hard disk.

3 - Run Factor. :-)

4 - Edit the ~/.xinitrc to only launch an rxvt instead of their whole
desktop.

5 - Restart X. Run Factory. :-)
