Hi all, I've pushed all of my latest patches to an experimental repository:
http://factorcode.org/experimental/ http://factorcode.org/images/poo/ This includes compiled curry, efficient lexically-scoped locals, and mixins. Everything mostly works, but there are various performance regressions and bugs. When things settle down a bit, I will push these changes to the main repository and stop using the experimental one. I updated everything in extra/ to load. Basically, all the *-with combinators have been moved to extra/deprecated. In most instances I updated source files to call the standard combinators with a curried quotation; in a few instances I just added 'deprecated' to the USING: list. I will finish the necessary updates and get rid of extra/ deprecated before releasing 0.90. I know 0.90 has been a long time coming, but things are going well. It is really 0.90, 0.91 and 0.92 in one; Factor development has continued at the regular pace, the only reason for the long delay between releases is simply that they're on hold until all remaining modules have been transitioned over. All important modules have been transitioned over now, only a few remain. Once my current set of new features is done, and the set of contributed modules is fully updated and polished, 0.90 should be the best release ever.
