I think check-slice should have a "filter" effect. It's currently:
: check-slice ( from to seq -- )
It should be:
: check-slice ( from to seq -- from to seq )
It's used in these words:
subseq delete-slice <slice>
In each case, it's preceded by 3dup.
When you add 1 word here and get to kill 3 words in 3 different places,
that's "good factoring". :-)
