Hey hey folks, Last message I promise about the Factor Hackfest I'm organizing tomorrow. Here's the scoop:
- When : Sunday, Dec 2 @ 4:00pm to 6:00pm. - Where : Earthmatters Organic Market, 177 Ludlow Street, New York, NY. Up in the back where all the tables are. - What : Factor hacking totally for newbies. Come with your laptop and I'll help you get setup and started. I'm sort of new so we can learn together and probably hang on the #concatenative channel to chat with other factor people. - How : Just show up, nothing formal or fancy at all. Should be fun, and I'm expecting about 3-5 people so very simple. I'm thinking I'll show people some basics of getting docs, searching, using the listener, reading through code, setting up an editor, and then maybe show them some of the GUI building code to show off.
