Why would I play WOW? And why would it be in the basement? I've been a
language freak for more than 30 years--- all I wanted was to try out a
new entry in the arena. Particular since this seemed to be a relative
of Forth, my third language after 'C'. I'm not the one who found it
necessary to create an OS dependency; and even worse a dependency that
didn't need to be there as your kindly supplied(see Joe's email)
work-around suggests. Won't even begin to discuss the serious flaws in
W2k's successors... I'm a developer; I try to avoid things that
crash(I hate having to figure out if it's me or Microsoft!)

BTW, on a totally different subject, is "Starting FORTH" (mentioned on
your website[nice design--- congrats!]) the autographed(by both Brodie
and Moore), numbered text published by FORTH Inc.? If so, cool
recommendation; I've treasured mine all these years.

p.s. just to keep up the snarkism(I'm sorry, I'm weak--- can't resist
being a wise ass), what were you doing 25 years ago when I was typing
the assembler source code for Forth into a PDP-11/23?

p.s.s. Joe thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a go at some point...
