I very much agree with this principle.

I didn't know squat about gadgets before this thread and now seeing
both implementations I have a much better idea about how they work.
Also, it would be nice to collect factorings like:

Cleave with two or three quotations should be written using 'bi' and
'tri' instead.

into one page where people can see a big list of "this combination of
words is actually equivalent to this much spiffier/shorter/3leeter
code" and learn how to write more idiomatic Factor.
