I'm presuming that by doesn't do the right thing you refer to the fact
that [ [ foo-bar ] ] becomes [ -bar ] instead of [ foo-bar ] ?

FWIW, that seems to be the standard behaviour of raise-sexp in other
modes (e.g. in Elisp), but i can change it by either providing a new
factor-raise-sexp command or redefining raise-sexp in factor-mode
buffers: which one would you prefer?
