Hello everybody.
I have started learning Factor and still there are many basic things
that I do not know, but it seems a very nice language.
I would like to post a very simple question.
I intend use Factor to do some text processing interactively in the Factor
workspace,
but the text is not in English.
Factor seems to support Unicode without problems, but currently, in the Factor
workspace,
English is rendered correctly, but the fonts chosen by default cannot display
my glyphs correctly.
(In the Listener I can only see small boxes appear instead of characters).
The question is:
Is there a way to change the fonts used in the Listener or the whole workspace?
I found a previous post about changing the size of the fonts:
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lang.factor.general/1176/match=workspace+font
Based on that I tried to figure out how to change fonts with using freetype and
open-font...
But I failed miserably, since there are lots of things that I do not understand
yet.
If anybody has time, a simple step-by-step guide for newcomers or something
like that would save me...
My system:
- Vista x64
- Factor binaries: 2008/12/10
Thank you very much for your patience.
Maza
