I agree that the versions using 'deep-cleave-quots' were very nice. Unfortunately 'deep-cleave-quots' was a casualty of 'bake' being removed from extra. Last I heard, the functionality of 'bake' is going to be merged into fry, so hopefully we'll get this word back.
