Right. Instead of asking about '1.0' it makes sense to ask about 
specific planned features.

So here's mine. :-) Whenabouts are you scheduled to make the switch to 
multi-methods?

It's an important issue for me. The switch to multi-methods is going to 
be one of those tectonic shifts in the code base. I'm a little reluctant 
to begin a large project if this switch over is around the corner. And 
by "switch over" I mean that single dispatch is totally phased out.

In fact, I'm a little surprised that you did the ui overhaul before 
switching to multi-methods; the ui will be hugely impacted. I don't 
think the change will be mechanical. I think there are parts of the code 
base where things should be rethought to take advantage of multi-methods.
