it looks much better than last time I checked.

The technical outline of the "Improve UI performance" page is not very
precise. "Make everything in the UI library use Factor's optimizing
compiler" and "Optimize the code" is essentially the same.

As I see it, one big part of the "Listener and inspector web apps"
task would be to implement a sandbox to execute the foreign code. I
believe this could make an entry for itself (factor doesn't have that
feature, right?) It is also a first step in providing internal
security and embeddability for the maturing VM.

Some other ideas:
* add some editing features to the documentation GUI, so that people
can complete the documentation easily.
* even more introspection in the GUI, this helps newbies understand
how the runtime works. For example: show loaded words/vocabs in the
scratchpad, goto word doc, ...
* a new DSL to compose/decompose binary structures like in erlang

I'm really excited and hope to be able to apply for this summer.
