Hello, I've just installed factor from file factor-macosx- x86-32-2009-05-13-23-30.dmg on my intel mac which is running Mac OS X version 10.5.6. To get factor to work I had to change the permissions on file /Applications/factor/Factor.app/Contents/MacOS/factor from 644 to 755.
I then started to work through the factor handbook. Everything worked fine until I came to application cookbook. When attempting to do "tetris" deploy-tool factor hung. The last three lines displayed were: Loading resource:basis/cpu/x86/x86.factor Checking if your CPU supports SSE2... - yes This software is very interesting!
