with-datastack was mostly intended to be used for developer tools,
like the listener, etc.

If you find a way to write your parser without using quotations and
with-datastack in this manner, you will be able to improve performance
further. Take a look at the farkup and xml vocabularies for examples
of hand-coded parsers.
