Hmm, although the frame interacts kind of weirdly with forward and back
buttons here. (I'm using Gnome's epiphany; not sure whether ff, ie
etc. have the same issues)

Because of this, I tend to have two or three doc tabs open, one of which
has the frame. It would be very irritating if the internal links got
changed to restore the search frame without the forward/back interaction
being fixed. (Incidentally, I don't know much about frames and browsers
- it could be that forward and back never work in this situation?)
