If you want to continue down this path have a look at Melissa O'Neill's 
paper - "The Genuine Sieve of Eratosthenes". You can find the paper by 
using any of the search engines. This will give you a technique of using 
a wheel to discard non-primes. The paper may take some effort to read 
but it is worth the effort.

Having used the same paper myself to write an Icon/UnIcon program to do 
the same, it is a very interesting technique. Do it in Factor and see 
where this leads you. In particular, compare it with the techniques 
previously given you by Doug Coleman and Sam Tardieu.
