Congratulations. Sorry I wasn't able to help more. I gave up on ergoEmacs,
maybe a little quickly, after a feeling it was dramatically slower than the
emacs I had compiled.
I don't understand why ErgoEmacs would be slower. Isn't it built from the
same base but with different keyboard bindings? I'm trying to use the key
combinations described in the FUEL readme, but I think this will be
problematic, because they have either been changed or eliminated in some
case. Not sure.
The short version of how to get Factor working with ErgoEmacs: Add the
needed list expressions to the file C:\Program Files
(x86)\ErgoEmacs\ergoemacs\init.el. Be careful to use forward slashes for
any paths or double backslashes (escaped backslash) if you use Windows path
syntax. You can factor-out these expressions into your own file, if you
like, and place it in <user directory>.emacs.d\myelisp, for example. User
variable HOME should point to <user directory>, NOT to <user
directory>\.emacs.d\.
