Hi Anton,

I fixed a bug in callbacks that was causing 100% CPU usage when
running a nested gtk event loop. However the problem is still there
intermittently. Sometimes, the alert works fine and the UI listener in
the background repaints properly, other times it has the behavior I
described in the e-mail. Any ideas?
