I was wondering about the compiler backend mostly. Not sure what the binding might be good for.

What do you mean by support? :) There is no llvm backend for the compiler if that is what you mean. But there is an llvm binding in unmaintained/llvm which I played with a while ago and seem to work fine. It probably needs to be updated to work with the latest llvm.
