Hi Yves, I believe this is as simple as using the findtime = 3600 in the jail.conf
the 3600 is the amount of seconds of accumulative attempts. so as long as you do not have (in my example of 3600) more than 3 (if your using maxretry = 3) attempts incorrect in the 5 minutes(3600 seconds) then you will not get banned.
