True. If fail2ban also automates the bgp update then that would work. If
it's a manual step then it depends on your support team levels and skills.
I like the idea but also like the idea of separate systems. For example if
someone forgets their Web portal password they aren't blocked from SMTP or
LDAP services.
Have you tested it as I'm not sure what there currently is?
