Heya,
Somehow fail2ban stopped working on my system.
When i
turned on DEBUG i noticed that the ban simply isnt happening cause its
being ignored.
# date
Tue May 12 20:25:27 BRT 2015
BRT timezone
i checked the log and is the same i see on date .. but when i force a
failed login i get:
2015-05-12 20:11:29,360 fail2ban.filter [86887]:
DEBUG Processing line with time:1399936289.0 and ip:xxxxxxxxxxxx
2015-05-12 20:11:29,360 fail2ban.filter [86887]: DEBUG Ignore line
since time 1399936289.0 < 1431472289.36 - 600
My localtime is not
symlinked
# ls -la /etc/localtime
-r--r--r-- 1 root wheel 2001 Oct 8
2014 /etc/localtime
and is set to BRT
Any help would be
appreciated..
