akasha wrote [[Its funny you use the term American Saddhu. In the
back reaches of my mind, I had evisioned doing a book .. ]]
** i think there is a book by that name.

[[I opted instead for a naiscent blog "High Brains Drifter" ]]
** lol .. love it! whats the addy?

[[(And of course Peter has already furiously (as in rapidly) started
a reply - "Its a delusion to try to find 'freedom' by reshuffling
relative layers of one's life.]]
** i suppose that would fit if one were "trying" to "find"
something.

[[While that is acknowledged, I think there is a subtle chain of
bondage that is unwound by giving up "home".]]
** or the largest ball of yarn in the world! :D

[[True, but then why would a saddhu need a construct? :) ]]
** w/o one, certainly imo, your only a homeless person, who, from
my experience, really have no purpose other than being a homeless
person, which, sure, could be considered sattvic in a stretch, but
my interpretation of a saddhu is of a god inspired, light inspired
initiate.

[[Perhaps a "chain" of drifter/sadhana safe houses spaced across the
country - ]]
** there called ashrams & monestaries & wats ;)

[[Sadhanic co-op safehouses / hostels / missions / retreats in city
and countryside locations - ]]
** sounds like a plan to me.

om peace!..
