The funniest claim of cognition I've ever heard was on the course in Maastricht in 1991. Mike Love and his girlfriend were up on stage, and she was talking about some idea she had. This was not particularly remarkable except for the fact that she was dressed in a suit made of leather. It struck me as very funny that a woman dressed in meat was standing before a devout Hindu holy man and saying "I cognized..."
