May 19, 2005 Dear Governors of Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, I wish to communicate a message that Maharishi asked the Rajas of the United States to give to all U.S. Governors immediately. Maharishi is eager to establish his worldwide Movement on the most dignified and stable basis, so that it is perpetuated in its purity for generations to come, and through its profound programs, brings enlightenment to the individual, invincibility to the nation, and peace to the world. To achieve this goal, Maharishi is focusing on developing lively full-time teaching activity in 2400 centers in the United States, including 300 centers in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana (domain of the Raja of Chicago). The policy was made yesterday that all Governors who wish to teach the Transcendental Meditation program should be full-time, not teaching part-time in the centers or their homes. Through their full and focused attention on bringing Maharishi's programs to the public, Maharishi's goals will be quickly actualized. Full-time Governors will be paid a salary of $2000 per month. If the Governors are teaching full-time they naturally should live where they teach�in or near one of the 300 designated centers where the Peace Palaces will be established. In working with the regional directors of this domain, we have identified a number of Governors who have selected cities in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, or Indiana for their full-time activity. Each of these fortunate Governors has committed not only to teaching full-time, but also to establishing the Peace Palace and thereby becoming Raja designates for their cities. But this message of today is focusing on one point: Maharishi asks that you inform me or our regional directors (names below) within three days whether you wish to work full-time as a Governor, and in which center you wish to teach. You can access the list of centers in these four states through the web page http://Chicago.GlobalCountry.net. After the Governors who want to teach full-time have been identified, they alone will be authorized to teach Transcendental Meditation and the other programs of Maharishi's worldwide Movement. The upsurge of positivity and coherence in national consciousness resulting from the single focus of all the Governors teaching full-time will transform the trends of life on earth so that Maharishi can joyfully proclaim the descent of Heaven on Earth, the descent of Satya Yuga, with perpetual peace in the world family.
