I acknowledge I was not clear on this point when writing it. Many
equate Badarayana with Vyasa, some say its not clear, others say they
were distinct. Can you clarify who Badarayana was, distinct from Vyasa?

I am further swimming in ignorance regarding the timing of Arayan
migration (or in some circles "invasion" ). If Vyasa was living during
Mahabhartata period and that was 5000 years or so ago, then was
Arayan migration after that? Or was Vyasa (as rumored) a long living
mind/body that appeared in Mahabharata perid, but also in earlier
periods?

Some hold that Arayan migration split -- some going into "Persia",
others into India. And there appear to be strong parallels (and
intriguing polar opposites) between Arayan and Zoroastrain traditions.
If so, can one use Persian Zoroastian traditions as sort of a contol
group to separate out Arayan from root Dravidian traditions in India?

No. I was simply being poetic in my reference -- imagining a nervous
system that had been refined and refined, first into "glass" then
further clarified into diamond like billiance.
