Tom, My comments on CC, the bulk of my comments on this thread, and the few things I said about UC, are all consistent with what MMY has taught for many years. I have been listening to him since 1967 speak of higher states. I spent 28 or more months on courses with him, a majority of which were with lectures every night by him in person. I have listened to 1000's of hours of tapes of his lectures, and taught various courses that used such tapes. I taught SCI and various longer term in-residence courses. I heard all of the original MIU core courses. I have a good sense of what MMY has said about CC and higher states. You will not find him talking about CC being "a small self witnessing things" as you have indicated is your understanding. My comments did not talk about 9th and 10th mandala, Jaimi, or Brahma Sutras, and only briefly mentioned Patanjali. Have you heard many tapes of MMY speaking directly on these texts? If so, please repeat what you heard directly from him that is different than what I said. Unless you point to such specific points by him, I am not clear why you feel the TMO has mislead you in this specific area of knowledge?
