Lots of *chatter* on the side here in FF. This was a pretty good one that came in from an old meditator who knows the TMO and MMY from way back. It seems to have its own practical wisdom of perspective:
FWD <so. i am not clear what vedic techniques the big-M intends to apply to cause this anti-democratic upheaval. i have the sneaking suspicion that he simply knows via jyotish that one is immanent, and, by predicting it, he can say that he caused it. considering that he has had the super radiance technology for world peace for 20 years, and (i have been told) had a community in india large enough to create a large effect but disbanded it, it is hard not to all but hold him responsible for not applying it and creating a more positive world for all of these years. if his model for world government is something monarchy-like, and we are to assume that he refutes all questions about the potential for abuse of power that such a system has inherent in it by saying that the king must be enlightened, and the people must be enlightened too, then i am forced to consider him as the only example of enlightenment extant. is this angry, condemning man the model of enlightenment? where are the days, where are the words of "the innocent reflector of the nation's conciousness", that put government always back onto the quality of consiousness in the nation, and where we had the technique to influence that conciousness? is democracy an ideal form of government? it is in as much as it matches the time and the people of the time. change the people, change the time, and democracy with its constant compromising and the enshrining of division will not fit. i dislike the vilifying, i would be happy to be without the bigotry that each party applies to the other. but is Maharishi the man to bring us to a better place? would i trust him with irreversible power? not any more.> To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!'
