I thought that was a superman movie. Actually, is an atomic blast from smaller scale nuclear weapons, presumably the size that al qaeda might acquire, activate a 9 level earthquake? I would have thought you would need much more force to do so. And if it started in the azores, western europe and nw africa would be hardest hit, being within 1000-1500 miles. The US east coast is 3000 or so miles away. Ther recent tsunami seemed to damage shorelines up to 1500 miles away.
