Subject: [FairfieldLife] The Collapse

Has MMY ever spoken about a phenomenon that I think I have seen, that
people who take TM and TMSP very seriously and put in a lot of
rounding has the effect of (1) rapidly gaining spiritual insights,
whilst - and here's the issue - (2) their outside world, their karma
or whatever, seem to collapse in and around them - with results like
people in their environment suddenly seem incapable to relate to them
(or the other way around) - that they sort of hangs in a state of
detachment or limbo, as far as the non-meditating society out there
concern. There's no real connection point. I am not talking about the
normal detachment fouind on the path to CC - but something else.

I'd hate to assign a value of good or bad to this (point 2), slightly
uncomfortable as it might seem -  it does makes sense, intuitivelly,
that this would happen.. Especiaily in societies that are, in
practice, total strangers to Eastern type meditations.
