Rick... good summary of what is going on here now. I don't know if The
Founders (USA) ever used the word "democracy" in a good light if at all.
Their intent was to establish a constitutional republic with the primary
purpose of protecting individual rights and restricting the power of
government. We've drifted pretty far away from that ideal IMO.
