Don, you might want to find a Reiki Master who works with pets for
help. Another route would be to get in touch with a good healer. Star
Fuentes gets my vote. I attended one of her classes in New York City.
At the end, she went around the room touching students on their head.
She touched my head for less than a hot minute and my meditations have
gotten better. Her's a link for Star:

Thanks, Marc. I didn't know Reikis sometimes worked on animals... there are some RM's nearby; I'll check with them. I also thought about trying an ear candle treatment.... might help (????).

Don

Don trust me, don't use all that Cosmic jazz on your dogs, it's cruel. You'll just prolong their suffering. Do a T4 and T3 thyroid test. If it's low, get the dog on thyroid medication and that should clear up ear infections and any other thyroid problems that might manifest. If thyroid is normal, then you can try a hypoallergenic diet, usually Lamb and rice is best. I can help you on this as well since I tested a dog for food allergies once. It's a slightly complicated process not worth going into here unless you have eliminated all other possibilities. By the way Don if your dog is low in thyroid it can lead  to many more serious problems down the road such as weight problems, skin problems, even epileptic seizures. Chronic ear problems could just be a first symptom of Hypothyroidism which you definitely want to nip in the bud.
