April 20, 2005 - Open Your Heart

There are two main difficulties in finding the way out, but both can be overcome.  The first is the rarity of a teacher who really knows the answers.  The second is the inability and the unwillingness of a seeker to recognize a true teacher should they meet.  A sheep cannot recognize an eagle.  So fearing destruction of his false values at the hand of a teacher, the seeker rejects the very truth that could heal him.  But if the seeker's pain becomes unbearable enough, one small and honest part of him can guide him to a teacher and make him receptive to the offered truth.

 There is a Way Out

Conditional desire produces conditional results.  To know the Truth you must first give up all ideas of what Truth is.

Hi Bert and Christina,

I absolutely adore the daily inspirational messages that you both send my waythey add light to my day and I find them awe inspiringI think everyone could use the messages you send to do their own personal introspection like I have. Your messages have taught me so much and have prompted me to look at the deeper meaning the essence of being and for me that is one of the greatest gifts any human being could ever receivethe gift that prompts insight into ones self!

Take care and God Bless,
