This all makes good sense experientially. Many of us intutively know the link between acting in an enlightened way and the consequent effect on the environment; the immediacy of light vs darkeness. However this seems to be a process that has gone on forever; the souls on their journey towards the light, and consequent Glorious albeit limited effect. Isn't it supposed to be different this time around though? That we achieve a global effect, a phase transition for all? Besides Maharishi's models, (which I do respect by the way, I am looking for additional knowledge here...) is there anything from other traditions, other cognitions, etc. that attempt to pin down what is currently going on, and how far to the 'tipping point' we may be?
