I have a feeling we share a kinship in terms of wanting so badly for the world to change as has been promised these many years per MMY. I recall MMY once referred to the process as 'selling pencils, one at a time'. So, doing the meditations day after day after day, cursing the state of affairs, the global violence, the inertia, the in your face suffering. Maintaining patience, listening to our hearts, looking everywhere for just a little wisdom, some correlation in the wilderness, and then the tipping point is reached; its time to get Real! Whether that is experienced in CC (better personal experience) GC (better communion with God) UC (better global experience) BC (better galactic/universal experience), The meek are inheriting the Earth.
