one, feel burnt, and reply in pain/anger, two, feel the heat and
back away, third, absorb the heat and enjoy the light.

Thanks,

Jim

---Thanks again Man, beautiful and more praise than I am worthy of, in fact it's sort of embarrasing, so can you stop with the kind words?  Really, no offense but overt kindness has always been kind of creepy to me. Ever since hitchhiking through Hollywood as a youngster. And also....

I have been familiar with praise for a long time as a chef. People love food and when the food is good everyone will join in in raising a glass and patting the chef on the back, and then, back in the kitchen, oh shit the filets are frozen, we're running out of mesculin and have to 86 salads. The berries have mold and need to have the spots cut out. The toilets are overflowing and the boss would just as soon stick a knife in your side as look at you or help out, not to mention he is so drunk that he knocked his two shot pistol off the shelf into the liquor bottles, and the bottle of Kahlua that goes in the dessert just splattered on the floor.

The praise was great, but just around the corner is an experience so humiliating that one cowers in shame anticipating it.  It's the praise that makes one cower not the shame, because it's just too damn hard to always live up.  I was chef and then sous chef and then now I am nothing as I can't find a job.  Ego and pride become humility in spite of oneself and damnation.

14 or so praised Jesus, but we all know what really happened. I have a few years left before I want to go that route. Not that he and I share much in common. But if he built it then I would come...open a seafood restaurant.

But thanks all the same. You're a good man Jim.

So is Lupidus the Spy in the house of love.

I'm just afraid for him. But he's no stranger having been around many of these newsgroups for the last five years or so, or longer. I remember reading him a good bit on alt.shamanism.  Noone can change his ways or beliefs.

Lupidus, I would be really curious why you so love Ben Creme as opposed to the actual real masters that are so freely available now.  But you didn't read this.
