One of the simplest and most powerful meditations is
to close your eyes and do nothing. Very gently hold
the mind in itself. When it wanders off on thoughts
bring it back and gently hold it inside itself. Just
be. Holding the mind in itself is attention on the "I"
thought, the root of avidya. This attention to pure
"subjectivity" disolves the misidentification of
consciousness with mind.
