The Tattva-samasa-sutras are believed to represent the actual teachings of the rishi Kapila, the founder of the samkhya system. Samkhya forms the basis of the yoga-sutra of Patanjali.
According to the Tattva-samasa-sutras there are three kinds of bondage. One is *dakshina bandha*, a yogin-renunciates attachment and dependence of the gifts of lay people.
