Exactly. It is precisely the freedom that the *technique* provides 
which negates required adherence to ANY group. 

Which is why the nature of the TMO eludes me. I could say that it is 
a bunch of people doing the 'big fish in a little pond' thing; can't 
succeed or control in the 'real world' to this degree. 
Or perhaps they are all tuned into Maharishi's darshan more than I 
am. 
Or perhaps it is a karmic thing; former followers/disciples of 
MMY/GD. 
Or perhaps they have a genuine desire to enlighten the world and 
this is the best vehicle for it. 
Or perhaps they are moths to Maharishi's flame, since someone has to 
carry out his teaching, and since it is mostly mechanical, who cares 
who they are, step right up? 
Or perhaps it is a karmic thing and they are drawn to do this work 
because of bad actions in former lives and they need the boost.
