Yeah, certainly the sample numbers need to be larger, but I see no basis for your claim that the tracking and execution of the study was not done properly, and the fact that the article was subjected to peer review before publication in this prestigious journal tends to make your concerns unwarranted, and at a minimum, not backed up by any specific objection to the careful exposition of the facts in the study.
