Dear Friends,
Well, as I recall, back in the day, when Maharishi would visit there, everything would change.
The day before his arival, everything would be really stirred up. Then, when he finally landed, and was on the ground; it would be so settled. You could feel that someone in Unity Consciousness, was in town; everything felt different. And it would last, for some months, until he returned again.
Then, after he was gone for too long, everyone's ego would get involved, and as Maharishi spent less and less time in the U.S. everything became more and more materialistic; with a president who represents the military/industrial complex, and a country of sleep walking, nascar, christian soldiers.
And since the TM movement in the U.S. has been made up of us, then it has just reflected the materialism, and self-absorption, that the rest of our culture, has shared.
But, now, the times, they are a changin'

Okay, okay, there's that sense of humor. I'm with ya. I remember
the good times in FF. Truth is, I think many here expressed the
desire for this next wave to succeed. There's a lot of goodwill to
be tapped here. But you know, this rubber band has been stretched
so many times, with nothing to go around, it's kinda lost its
elasticity.
