Regardless of what Earl believes, it's still worth reading just in order to face those fears and in order to know the truth whether the letter is full of truth or not. Some things certainly are true, others arent. For instance the Sri Yantra is the yantra of Shrii, not the yantra of bitter little yakshas. Every single node of the Sri Yantra is transcendental, including the Bhupur.

Sri Yantra is fascinating and many will find it amazing that whole lineages of Sannyasin who have vowed to never have sex still meditate on the ultimate in male female union. There's a reason for this, namely that the ultimate deities are in union. I mean, wouldn't you be?

Earl patently was not initiated into Sri. I recommend it as a true path for any intrepid traveler. I'm really not sure any activation of the yantra is done in the sense of it becoming a talisman for the bestowing of powers upon someone to control others or steal their energy or whathaveyou. I don't think Sri would allow this. She is extremely wrathful.

I saw kundalini after I learned TM, but then as I have said I got the yoni bija mantra EE, you figure the rest out. It's the primordial mantra of Adiparashakti. Moreover my initiator had cognized all the devata during his teaching course. I was very lucky in that way. His wife confirmed that he had thought he was going insane during the entire TTC, so good shit does happen. In the sense that I got my mantra from someone with fully awake awareness.  I know that what I got was true and good.  The kundalini blocking shit is stupid. Having been on fire for two years after I learned TM I know that for a fact.

Maharishi might drain others of energy by being a truely crazy actor and demanding attention.  I used to think he wanted to have Maharudrabhishekas performed as the donor because a benefit of having them performed according to Yajur Veda is that one can become lord of the world. Don't believe me, look it up. Effects of Maharudrabhisheka.

I appreciate Earl's letter. I appreciate his honesty and courage. And most of all I appreciate how close what he said was to what I wrote in my email that I wrote back in 2002 which I posted here earlier this month.  It's pretty striking that I guessed all that, whereas Earl here says the same things but knows them first hand.

On the other hand, I really started to wake up and get angry at Maharishi when I started chanting to Mahalakshmi about four years back. All of a sudden I started getting truely rage filled angry burst of spontaneous energy directed at Maharishi, at what a mockery he and his movement are and so on. Mahalakshmi is the guardian of the Sri Yantra, and moreover she is the guardian of all religion on Earth. In Tibetan she is Sri Devi - Palden Llhamo.  Look into it. Chant to her for a month and see how you feel. Would you fear to face Mahalakshmi? She is all grace. Try it out.  Om Shrim Klim Mahalakshmiyei Namaha. Say it ten thousand times over a month and see what surfaces. That's my advice. It can't hurt. At the very least the Goddess of wealth will bless you with more abundance.

The Kaplans go into an insane rant about how MMY is supposedly
draining the energy of Siddhas, and you still find it credible their
hallucinations about wanting the rest of their money? Give me a
break. The only chilling thing here is how long-time meditators could
go nuts like the Ks did, a true testament to the quality of life in
the Kaliyuga.
