Yes, what you are saying about bliss being inseparable from emptiness 
rings true. Bliss by itself is just a good feeling, much as watching a 
favorite TV show. 

BTW my own experience regarding TM, i.e. mantra meditation, has for 
years not been about bliss, but rather the clear and refreshed feeling 
I get after coming out of the practice, and how I can then apply 
myself to better performance in my daily life. This I think is closer 
to what I was taught about TM than to focus on the bliss.
