That's an excellent point. In Waking Down, we do "gazing meditation",
which I perceive as having been the spiritual transmission that
fueled the whole process (I can't get through the writings, so I
don't even bother with them).

I saw Saniel and Linda at an intro meeting at the public library a
few years ago, and I did the gazing with them. I felt nothing except
embarrassment for having gone to the library to do goofy-assed newage
crap like that. I walked out after the meeting with no understanding
of or interest in WD. But, about a year and a half later, at an intro
meeting with Saniel and Pascal (WD teacher who moved to FF), I really
connected with Pascal during the gazing, and I decided to pursue it.
It just felt right.
