I can do that in two words: I don't. :-)

It's just that the philosophy of Buddhism appeals to
me personally more than do other philosophies. I like
the focus on walking the walk of one's spiritual path,
as opposed to merely talking the talk of it. I like
the focus on individual responsibility for one's actions
and one's enlightenment. Because philosophically I see
no need for the concept of a sentient God, I am happier
with folks who can pursue the pathway to enlightenment
with a similar lack of need for one. And frankly, I
like the Buddhist approach to karma -- learning by
fucking up (which we all do) is considered as valuable
as learning by doing the right thing.

And Buddhists, on the whole, have a good sense of humor,
especially when it comes to laughing at themselves.
That's important to me when it comes to choosing friends
and/or companions with whom to share a path. They can
be serious about their sadhana without being all *serious*
about it. As G.K. Chesterton (a Christian, not a Buddhist)
said so well, "Seriousness is not a virtue."

Lastly, and very much to the point of your question, I
like Buddhism because it has no need to consider itself
superior to any other spiritual path.
