Well said. And with regard to language merely being a human attempt to describe observed reality, it is good to remember that reality is different in different states of consciousness. Teachers speak *to* a certain individual or group of individuals, *in* a certain context, and *from* a certain state of consciousness that they wish to expound upon at that time and place. Without knowing all three of these criteria, one can never know the full "meaning" of the symbolic repre- sentation the teacher was passing along.
